“No one can tell you what your lifestyle ought to be. Only you can decide how your income is spent. Effective money management will depend on the way you choose to live and the goals you plan to achieve.” Seems like the classic case of ‘now’ vs ‘later’. I have found that you have to strike a good balance. If you go too much on later…well, you never know, there might not be a ‘later.’ Whereas if you go all on now…of course anyone can see the problems with that.
