On the subject of frugality, there is always one seriously overlooked solution...LEARN TO COOK!. So many of my friends and coworkers go on and on about their favorite restaurants, spending upwards of a hundred or so just for dinner. Every time I go to one, I take mental notes on how it's made, and then do it at home. Not including wine, your $30 entree actually costs all of $5-$10 for both of you. Skip eating out for a month, buy good cookware (All-Clad...expensive, but it should last you a lifetime or so), and tune into Good Eats on the food network. You may enjoy doing it, and your significant other will appreciate it...plus the bedroom is a lot closer after the bottle of wine.
